The Moodboard team – the stock photo agency I work for – has been pushing me to leave the safe studio and go outdoors. They think good locations add so much more value to an image than a “boring” white background. So I did !! Since this spring I have been shooting beauty and lifestyle outdoors, in Holland but also in other countries. This shoot is my first try and the Moodboard team – and I – were quite pleased with the results.
The Art Director provided me with a shoot brief “Outdoor Beauty/Lifestyle”, concepts were vitality/wellbeing, freedom and “loving nature”. Together with Belgium model Evelyne Mertens I went to a very nice area north of Antwerpen. I made a natural makeup for Evelyne and after a short briefing session we just started shooting. Evelyne was a real super model !! Without any additional coaching I could shoot and shoot and every shot was supers !!! Moodboard eventually decided not to put these pics in their premium collection but in their premium plus collection. Many thanks to Evelyne !!! On the pics you see a real woman expressing freedom, love for nature and vitality !!
