This summer I did three stock shoots in the Somme area near Amiens, France. I scouted this region because of the ponds – I needed for my project Organic Beauty – and the cornfields I needed for Woman in Nature. Together with two models I was for three days in this area and shot three projects. Lucky us had three days of beautiful weather, sunny, warm, all we needed to make the shots on my shotlist.
All the pics were shot in the early evening sun. If you want to do these kind of shoots, you only have a few hours a day – the very early morning hours and the early evening sun. So no shooting between nine o’clock in the morning and let’s say five o’clock in the afternoon. Models expect to go shooting all day when going on a shooting trip !!! So you better ensure some mid day shooting opportunities or something else the models like.
