This post is a tribute to the WordPress plugins I use. Since I have no html, php and (?) knowledge I heavily depend on plugins for adding extra functionality to Wordpress. My Thesis theme has some of the very important plugins like “All in one SEO Pack” and “Google Analytics” built-in .

- Broken Link Checker – Checks your posts for broken links and missing images and notifies you on the dashboard if any are found
- cforms – formsII offers unparalleled flexibility in deploying contact forms across your blog
- FeedBurner FeedSmith – this plugin detects all ways to access your original WordPress feeds and redirects them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber
- Recommended Reading – Pulls shared items from your Google Reader account for display in sidebar or elsewhere. Includes sidebar widget
- Subscribe To Comments – Allows readers to receive notifications of new comments that are posted to an entry
- Thesis OpenHook – This plugin allows you to insert arbitrary content into the many hooks that the Thesis Theme Framework provides
- What Would Seth Godin Do – Displays a custom welcome message to new visitors and another to return visitors
- Google XML Sitemaps – Create a Google sitemaps compliant XML-Sitemap of your WordPress blog
- NextGEN Gallery – A full integrated Image Gallery plugin for WordPress with a Flash slideshow option
- WordPress.com Stats – You can have simple, concise stats with no additional load on your server by plugging into WordPress.com’s stat system
- WordPress.com Popular Posts – Shows the most popular posts, using data collected by WordPress.com stats plugin
- Wordpress Gravatars – Makes use of Gravatars (…) in the comments section. Uses the comment authors email to display their Gravatar
- Wordpress Thread Comment – wp thread comment allow user can reply comment and same comment On display
- WP-DownloadManager – Adds a simple download manager to your WordPress blog
- Contact Form 7 – Just another contact form plugin. Simple but flexible
- Sociable – Automatically adds links to your favorite social bookmarking sites to your posts, pages and RSS feed
- Viper’s Video Quicktags – Allows easy and XHTML valid posting of videos from various websites such as YouTube, DailyMotion, Vimeo, and more
- Simple Tags – The successor of Simple Tagging Plugin and is THE perfect tool to perfectly manage your WP tags
Are these the best plugins? Do you still use any of them?

The Thesis theme absolutely does not have All in One SEO Pack built into it.

no, maybe not. I am not an expert, but as far as I know most SEO functionality is built-in

Hi,
I use a lot of the plugins you wrote about it.
Plus:
- IntenseDebate Comments enhance and encourage conversation on your blog or website.
- OpenID for account registration, authentication, and commenting. Also includes an OpenID provider which can turn WordPress author URLs into OpenIDs.
- Yet Another Related Posts Plugin Returns a list of related entries based on a unique algorithm for display on your blog and RSS feeds
Cheers,
